10. O: A monogram cypher, the down strokes solid. The date 1800 under, the top
       of figure 1 is sloping. Same for Nos. 9-11.
    R: PENNY across the centre of the field. The tops of the N's do not join.

These were struck for the sole use of the boys of Christ's Hospital, and were 
known as "Housey-Money." It was illegal for boys to make purchases outside the 
gates, or to retain possession of current coin; it was changed by one of the 
beadles.

Nos. 9-13, scarce in fine condition.
