hood. Two inner leaves over head, between the acorns.
24. O: Druid's head in a thick wreath of oak. The acorn in centre of wreath
not in line with mouth; one leaf lower.
R: A monogram cypher, P M Co. WE PROMISE TO PAY THE BEARER ONE PENNY 1787.
Date above the cypher. Curved 1 under foot of Y. The bottom flourish
ends over H of "THE."
