CHURCH. Ex.: MCCXC.
R: A cypher D A R, a knife and a palm branch crossed below, a small wreath
above. HACKNEY PROMISSORY TOKEN 1795.
Proofs of obverse and reverse dies were struck on thin white-metal flan. This was
also struck in silver and tin, the later from rusted dies.
