over head, between the acorns.
68. O: Druid's head in a thick wreath of oak. Very similar to No. 67.
The acorns at back of hood have shorter stems. Same for Nos. 68-69.
R: A monogram cypher, P M Co. WE PROMISE TO PAY THE BEARER ONE PENNY 1787.
Date above the cypher. Straight 1 under second limb of second N.
The 1 and 7 joined by flaw at top.
