       limb of L (Same as Nos. 63, 65.)
    R: Arms and crest. Similar, but with two heads added to the rushes on either
       side; the upper flag to right points to F.
    E: PAYABLE AT THE WAREHOUSE OF THOMAS CLARKE . X . X .

For readily tracing the dies of the 1791 series, the straight 1's and curved 1's
in the date are divided, the proper edge reading coming first. The straight 1's
are arranged with and without the period on the obverse, and by the position of
the top of mast-head to the letter L of legend, commencing with the top of mast-
head to the centre of L.
